In an ongoing effort to improve the lives of our patients, we invest in technology and advanced diagnostics, Valley Animal Hospital has purchased this state of the art, all digital GE ultrasound machine.

Purchasing the machine however is only half the battle as this new technology requires an enormous investment in continuing education. In fact, all three doctors have gone through many hours of professional continuing education dealing with the diagnosing of disease with the use of ultrasound.

Here, Dr. Henderson is performing an abdominal Ultrasound.

Ultrasound is used routinely in our practice for pregnancy checks, urinary tract disease, liver disease, and heart disease to name a few. Additionally, we use this machine to help guide us when we need to take a biopsy abdominal organs. This avoids general surgery in many patients.
