Not all radiographs are created equal. Valley Animal Hospital uses a brand new radiograph machine and automatic processor to get "picture perfect" diagnostic images. In addition, we now make digital copies of our radiographs. These radiographs can be viewed on the monitor of every exam room or anywhere in the hospital.

While getting the correct shots is essential to making a diagnosis, the diagnosis is only as good as the one looking at the radiograph. While the doctors have 36 years of combined experience in the field of veterinary medicine, we are proud to have on our team Dr. Justin Goggin who is a Board Certified Radiologist. Dr. Goggin. Reviews all radiographs taken at our facility and sets up regular "film reading sessions" to enhance the staff's ability to make radiographic diagnoses.

Here, our images can be manipulated so we can better evaluate our radiographs. We can change contrast, brightness, zoom in or a host of other changes. The ability to highlight one area as opposed to another can help tremendously in arriving at a proper diagnosis much more quickly than before. And now, we can send our radiographs to Dr. Goggin via email so urgent cases can get their usual second opinion within 1 hour, EVEN ON THE WEEKEND!
